The Last Word Legacy Inc. builds holistic estate planning software. Traditional estate planning handles the money and the property. We focus on everything else: the stories, the values, the memories, and the intentions that make a legacy complete. Protecting not just your wealth, but your wisdom.
We design software and tools that help people preserve the legacy they have built and shape the legacy they still want to leave, alongside traditional financial and legal planning. Our products are currently in development.
From our co-founder
Years after my father passed, I found a Post-it note he’d left me attached to a book.
That small, handwritten message, with his advice and humor, is now one of my most prized possessions. It hit me how much I still long for his guidance, his ‘oft-used phrases’.
I realized so many of us feel this way – wishing we hadn’t deleted that voicemail, or could remember that lullaby. I want my own son to have access to my stories, my encouragement, long after I’m gone. I wish I had more of that from my own parents.
That’s why The Last Word exists.

The Last Word Legacy Inc. is a company founded by Jane Bloom and Alexandra Bennett Cannady. Both are media and creative producers by background, drawn to this work by a simple belief: people plan their finances but not their meaning, and the meaning is what families miss most.

Founders
Jane is a two-time National Emmy Award winner and member of the Producers Guild of America with a career spanning more than 200 hours of television across six continents. She specializes in social justice, trauma recovery, and neuro arts, creating programs with measurable impact. Guided by her stakeholder-centric approach, Jane brings deep expertise in storytelling, evidence-based interventions, and community engagement. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School for the Arts.
Co-Founder
Alexandra is an award-winning producer and member of the Producers Guild of America who began her career at NBC, ABC, and CBS before producing for Nickelodeon, Discovery/Animal Planet, and Disney. She has delivered major holiday specials for ABC/Disney and projects for TLC, National Geographic, and HGTV. Alexandra has also built partnerships with NASA, Smithsonian Institution, Humane Society, ASPCA, and Universal Studios, blending education with entertainment to inspire audiences. She is a SUNY Oswego graduate.
